I am a freelance content creator working within football and I specialise in a range of areas, from Photoshop and video editing to running Social Medias like Tik Tok, to After Effects and match day management.
I’m a passionate football supporter who has worked with a number of League Of Ireland clubs to help develop and improve their media and online presence through photography, videography, written and visual work. I’m very focused on improving the commercial development of our league.
I lead the Galway United Social Media content creation team and I am currently responsible for the matchday media co-ordination, overseeing official club content on match days. Duties here include the creation of content through graphics, though text, image and videos before and after the game, editing video footage from live feeds; pitching new ideas to the board of Galway United FC; measuring social media engagement and trends on several social medias, and keeping all social media platforms updated throughout a match-day along with writing match reports and previews on occasions.
I am passionate about football, particularly Irish Football, both domestic and internationally. I am a huge advocate of the SSE Airtricity league. I support Galway United F.C. who are in the second division of Irish football (not for long I hope!). I am a fan, a part owner, and member of staff. I'm also all for anything that develops Irish football positively going forward. Although I am no Jack Byrne or whoever the case is, when it comes to playing football I try my best to contribute towards football off the field in any way that I can and try to show this passion through my work. I believe there is a real opportunity here for domestic football in Ireland to develop, and through my content creation I try and help this as much as I can.
